Rooms were comfortable and clean, with maid service daily. Breakfast was continental style and fine. Central location was ideal for us, with about a ten minute walk to the wonderfull Christmas Markets. Just a couple of minutes away from the train station and billardsaal stuttgart shopping area. Stay away from this utter rat hole that is disguising itself as a hotel!!. Truly the worst ever hotel I have stayed in!!. After getting lost trying to find this place without a sat nav - 1hr 15mins doing laps of the town center. Whatever joy and excitement I had at finding the hotel and spending another 15 minutes trying to find parking ; soon left when I met the chap on reception. Unhelpful, rude and sarcastic - just what I needed having been in the car for over 5 hours my turn for sarcasm there. After establishing there were no keys the rest of the group had them and extracting, with quite some effort, the room numbers we headed up the very steep stairs as there was a notice on the lift we assumed meant it wasn't working. The rooms looked reasonable but cheap. Ours was a four man room - two single beds and a small cosy double that threatened to collapse if you didn't get on it in a very specific way. The bathroom was narrow but did the job; the other rooms in our group didn't fair so well - broken shower rails, taps that fall off and some unknown 'thing' in the loo to name a few. Breakfast was very disappointing and I wish I hadn't made the effort to go down to the dingy, dimly lit room for a poor selection of stale bread, odd tasting juice and two varieties of egg.
